The Ten-Year Test

  • For flexible sized cast {18-30 kids}, 10-11 year olds, 26 minutes run time, about 23 hours of rehearsal needed

“The Ten-Year Test” tells the true story of how New York became the first major city to recognize the Muslim holiday of Eid as an official school holiday, through the persistent work of students and their supporters. The play uses song and rap to show how persistence and teamwork can pay off, and it educates the audience on Muslim culture as well as the unique contributions of American Muslims throughout our history.
