    Brett Pontecorvo is a pianist and music director who has been working professionally as an educator and musician since 2010. He teaches teaches private piano lessons in your home or at his home studio in Queens. He accepts students of all ages and focuses on creating strong overall musicianship. He works individually with students and parents to create a fun and exciting curriculum that reflects their musical needs, while developing excellent piano technique,and understanding of music theory.     Lawrence Rush, voice teacher, audition prep

    Lawrence Rush is a musical director for BCT, as well as a teaching artist for TADA! and The Neighborhood Playhouse Junior School. As a singer, he has performed many roles in both opera and musical theater, was a full time member of the San Francisco Opera Chorus, where he also covered and performed small roles, and was the youngest member of the Young Americans show choir as well as the Grammy winning Gregg Smith Singers. With a background in singing, piano, acting, composing (he is also an award winning composer of musicals) and teaching, Lawrence brings a wide variety of skills to teaching and coaching young singers. His students have auditioned for and gotten into New York City’s premier musical theater schools. With a fun approach, Lawrence strengthens his students voices, works on pitch and breath control and coaches them on songs, both musically and dramatically.
