    Children will learn and practice the basics of musical theatre technique including singing, improvisation, acting, scene work, memorization, and staging.
    Session ends with a sharing open to family and loved ones.

Brooklyn Children's Theatre was founded in 2004 by Amy White Graves and Nicole Kempskie.

BCT BROOKLYN CHILDREN'S THEATRE INC IS A 501 (C)(3) PUBLIC CHARITY UNDER SECTION 170 OF THE IRS CODE.

Our Mission

BCT Brooklyn Children’s Theatre Inc provides youth with a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment to discover and hone their talents and life skills through the collaborative art of musical theatre.

 

We especially seek the participation of students who have a gift to give the art of theatre who would not otherwise have theater or performance opportunities, due to economic or cultural barriers or lack of resources in their schools and communities. BCT fulfills an underfunded need in which all students are welcome, regardless of their economic situation. No child has ever been refused for an inability to pay.
